Tents· Advanced

Goal

Place one tent next to each tree

Rules

  • Each tree must be orthogonally adjacent to exactly one tent
  • Tents cannot touch each other, not even diagonally
  • Numbers on the sides show how many tents are in that row or column
  • Mark empty cells with X to help with elimination
11101011xxxx4 x 4

If a row or column clue is 0, mark all empty cells with X

If a tree has only one free adjacent cell, the tent position is certain

Tents puzzles strengthen constraint satisfaction problem (CSP) solving abilities. They require spatial reasoning and elimination simultaneously, contributing to prefrontal cortex activation and working memory improvement.
