Tangram· Advanced

Goal

Fill the target silhouette using all 7 Tangram pieces.

How to Play

  • Drag pieces to move them to the desired position
  • Tap buttons to rotate or flip a piece
  • Fit all pieces into the silhouette with no gaps to complete!

All Pieces Must Fit

Place all 7 given pieces inside the silhouette. No piece may extend beyond the silhouette boundary.

No Overlap

Pieces must not overlap each other. Any overlapping area is not accepted as a valid solution.

Completed Example

  • Use all pieces: 5 triangles, 1 square, and 1 parallelogram.
  • Pieces cannot overlap and must stay within the silhouette.
  • Use rotate and flip buttons to adjust piece orientation.

Tip

  • Start with the large triangles — the remaining spaces become clearer.
  • Align pieces with the silhouette's edges and corners for guidance.
  • Try flipping if a piece doesn't fit — the parallelogram often needs to be flipped.

Tangrams enhance visuospatial reasoning and prefrontal activation. A 17,000-child RCT showed spatial training significantly improves mathematical reasoning.
