Rules

  • Each round adds one new color to the end of the sequence.
  • After the demonstration, tap the entire sequence from the beginning.
  • One mistake ends the game. Try to memorize the longest sequence possible.

Tip

  • Chunk colors into groups (e.g., red-blue, green-yellow) to remember longer sequences
  • Focus only on the newly added item — you already know the earlier ones
  • Close your eyes and mentally rehearse the sequence before tapping

Serial recall tasks directly measure and train working memory capacity. This is a variation of the Corsi Block-Tapping task, widely used in neuropsychology.
