Goal

Judge whether the current position matches the position from N steps back.

How to Play

  • A square appears sequentially on a 3x3 grid
  • Press 'Match' when the current position is the same as N steps back
  • Press 'No Match' or simply wait if the positions differ

Match Judgment

Press Match only when the current position exactly matches the one from N steps back. Pressing when there's no match counts as an error!

Rules

  • A square appears sequentially on a 3x3 grid.
  • Press 'Match' if the current position is the same as N steps back, or 'No Match' if different.
  • The first N stimuli have no comparison target, so no response is needed.

Tip

  • Try to remember positions as spatial images rather than verbal descriptions
  • Master lower N levels first, then gradually increase N
  • Respond rhythmically to avoid missing the timing window
