Memory Matrix· Advanced

Goal

Memorize the highlighted cells on the grid, then tap the same positions to reproduce the pattern.

How to Play

  • Highlighted cells appear briefly on the grid — memorize them
  • After the pattern disappears, tap the positions you remember
  • Auto-submits when you tap the target number of cells

Pattern Recall

You must remember the exact positions of the highlighted cells. Tap all correct positions to succeed!

✓✓OK
✗NG

Recall Accuracy

Tapping a cell that wasn't highlighted counts as an error. Start with the cells you're most confident about!

3/3 OK
?1/3 NG

Rules

  • Each round adds one more cell to remember.
  • After the pattern disappears, tap the cells you remember — it auto-submits when you reach the target count.
  • One mistake ends the game. Try to remember as many cells as possible.

Tip

  • Try to see the overall shape rather than memorizing individual positions
  • Keep your eyes wide and scan the entire grid when the pattern appears
  • Associate the pattern with a letter or familiar shape to boost recall

The Visual Pattern Test (VPT) is a standard tool for measuring visual short-term memory capacity, assessing pure visual memory with minimal verbal encoding.
